Little squirrel

A little squirrel is living far from his land. He came to this island by a wind surf ship when he was searching for foods and the ship was sunk in the stone beach of this island and never left it again. It took him few years until he found out how he could survive easily in the cold winter and the humidity of summer without any other squirrel around. Every night after long searching for food and saving them in safe place, he is standing on the highest stone near the beach, looking faraway into the east, and hoping for a new ship to come into island and bring him back to his home land. Day goes after days and winter comes after winters, he is getting elder and it becomes more difficult for him to search for foods and keeps them safe or even remembers their hidden place. Now there is an only one way left, he should pack everything he has and makes a small raft and driving it into east and crosses the big ocean in his way. During packing he finds out how much he will miss this land, but his home is a place that his heart pointing it. The sea is calm and the sun is shiny and after few days he runs out of every water and foods. He lies down on his back, looks up straight to the sun and he is waiting for his last moment to come. His eyes are closing slowly and his body starts getting lighter and colder. He starts remembering his entire wild homeland, the pure nature and the trees. All those beautiful and scary times he had and he knows nothing will make him happy as much as seeing his old friends and family. The draft is going slowly to the unclear destination and the squirrel is taking his last breaths. (to be continued) …
